Certificate Description
FloorScore is a certification standard for hard surface flooring materials, adhesives, and underlayments.
All products bearing FloorScore Certification are in compliance with California’s strict criteria regarding volatile organic compound emissions. Essentially, the certification is important to anyone who cares about maintaining good indoor air quality (IAQ) in their home or business. The standard also qualifies for several green building schemes including LEED v4, WELL, BREEAM, CHPS, and Green Globes.
FloorScore was developed by the SCS Global Services with the Resilient Floor Covering Institute (RFCI), a leading industry trade association of flooring manufacturers and suppliers.
