Certificate Description
The Certified Natural Cosmetics seal certifies the use natural raw material in cosmetic products.
The certification encompasses a wide range of raw materials such as plant oils, fats and waxes, herbal extracts and essential oils and aromatic materials from controlled biological cultivation or controlled biological wild collection. In addition to the careful selection of raw materials, the ecological impact of each product plays an important role.
The certification is developed and managed by the Association of German Industries and Trading Firms (BDIH), a non-profit association for pharmaceuticals, health care products, food supplements and personal hygiene products.
