BioForum Biogarantie and Ecogarantie
Certificate Description
Biogarantie is a Belgian organic label. It is also recognised at the European level but puts more stringent conditions, for example, by prohibiting the use of nitrite salts in meat products.
Ecogarantie is the brand for products with ingredients from organic agriculture and / or mineral origin. The standards which are currently available relate to cosmetics, detergents and cleaning products and sea salt.
The standards are developed by the BioForum, the sector organization of organic agriculture & food, composed of farmers, processing companies, distributors, wholesale distribution, retail and food services.
