BioDAR is a research project using radar to monitor insect biodiversity in our environment.
By collecting detailed information about the variety and amount of different insects, scientists can keep tabs on the impact of different conservation actions and see how man-made changes to our environment are affecting insect populations.
BioDAR is led by researchers from the University of Leeds, University of Exeter and the National Centre for Atmospheric Science.
