The EHPEA Code of Practice for Sustainable Flower Production aims to protect both the sustainability of Ethiopian flowers as well as the communities in which they are cultivated.
The document sets out a framework for sustainable practices on flower farms in Ethiopia. It defines essential elements for the development of best-practices within the sector that will enable the sector to compete at international market level.
The document was developed by the Ethiopian Horticulture Producer Exporters Association (EHPEA), which aims to protect the sustainable competitive position of Ethiopian horticulture in the international market.
