Eco-Reinforcement
Certificate Description
Eco-Reinforcement is a third-party certification scheme that assesses and recognises responsibly sourced reinforcing steel products. The standard complies with the requirements of the BES 6001 Framework Standard for the Responsible Sourcing of Construction Products.
Eco-Reinforcement takes into account the entire reinforcing steel supply chain and offers certification to responsible steel mills and fabricators. This scheme provides construction clients, specifiers, and contractors with the information necessary to purchase reinforcing steel from a supply chain that is addressing issues of sustainability.
The Scheme Council of Eco-Reinforcement Ltd is a company that was established to develop, manage, and progress the Eco-Reinforcement standard and certification scheme.
