Yulia Nesterova


Yulia is a doctoral researcher at the University of Hong Kong where she conducts a study on indigenous rights and education in Taiwan, and is a co-investigator in a number of other research projects on education and social justice in Asia-Pacific. She is an editor and author of UNESCO MGIEP book on prevention of violent extremism through education to which she brought her expertise in the rights of ethnic, religious, and cultural minorities. Yulia was educated in Sweden and Finland and has worked in the field of quality education and human rights in Finland, Russia, Ethiopia, Brazil, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
