Global Red Meat Standard (GRMS)
Certificate Description
The Global Red Meat Standard (GRMS) is a standard developed for the processes of slaughtering, cutting, deboning and sales of red meat and meat products.
In contrast to other more generic food industry quality schemes, the GRMS has been tailored to the specific requirements that apply to the meat industry. It is available for implementation by all interested parties or meat producers within its scope.
The GRMS Governance Board provides the strategic direction and oversees the daily management of the Global Red Meat Standard. The Governance Board consists of representatives from Danish Agriculture & Food Council and the Danish Meat Research Institute.
