Certificate Description
Ecocert is an organic certification organization, founded in France in 1991. It is based in Europe but conducts inspections in over 80 countries, making it one of the largest organic certification organizations in the world.
The Ecocert certification is a rigorous process that consists of an independent and impartial certification body assessing the conformity of a product, service or system with environmental and social requirements specified in a standard.
At the end of the certification process, Ecocert issues a decision and when positive, delivers a written assurance called a certificate.
