COSMOS-standard
Certificate Description
The COSMOS-standard is an international certification for cosmetics. The standard verifies that products are genuine organic or natural cosmetics produced to the highest feasible sustainability practices.
The standard covers all aspects of the sourcing, manufacture, marketing and control of cosmetic products. COSMOS offers two signatures for cosmetic products, COSMOS ORGANIC or COSMOS NATURAL. In addition, COSMOS also offers COSMOS CERTIFIED and COSMOS APPROVED signatures.
The COSMOS-standard is managed by COSMOS-standard AISBL, a not-for-profit, international and independent association.
